在許多生產網絡當中,從事相同功能的廠商往往不會只存在一個,然而這些網絡中的廠商彼此之間的互動情形,均受到許多因素的影響,無論是雙方所採取的形式為競爭或是合作的方式,在在都會受到廠商本身所處的網絡位置而定,以及廠商之間作採取的關係策略所影響。
本研究的目的在於探討產業中的廠商其本身所採行的關係策略以及該廠商所身處的社會網絡結構將如何影響廠商與其網絡中其他成員的互動關係,彼此間會傾向競爭亦或是合作的關係呢?由於廠商間的競爭/合作的活動是動態的,因此本研究使用多重層次網絡分析方法,分別針對廠商其不同層次社會網絡結構加以探討可能採取行動的傾向。
本研究採用了訪談與發放問卷兩階段的抽樣方法,結合實務訪談的結果以及量化問卷的方式,進一步瞭解網絡中的廠商,其所處的位置與角色以及所採用的關係策略,對於本身在網絡中所要採行的活動之間的影響關係。另外,透過實證的研究證明,在社會網絡結構的變數中,廠商尋求網絡外部成員合作的機會比在網絡內部競爭的可能性為高;再者,利用多重層次網絡分析法,分別就不同層次的社會網絡結構構面,分析不同層次的網絡結構對於廠商所從事的活動,亦獲知社會網絡結構確實對於關係策略與競合傾向有不同程度的干擾效果,並且其干擾的效果多出現在影響廠商從事與網絡外部成員合作的可能性。
There are a lot of firms with the same function in the production networks. However, within the networks the interactions of the firms are involved in many factors such as the competitive or cooperative forms which the firms make. The forms depend on the positions of the firms in the networks and the relationship strategies the firms take.
The purpose of this study is conferring how the relationship strategies the firms take in the industry and the social network structures the firms position affect the interaction of the member of the netwoks. Are they competitive or cooperative? Because of the dynamics of the co-opetition, we apply multilevel social network analysis to find how the different social network structures affect the action which the firms would take.
Using interview and questionnaire to understand how the status and role of the firms within the networks and the relationship strategies of the firms affect the actions the firms take. According to the result of this study, the social network structures would affect the likelihood of the firms seek to cooperate with the members out of the networks is more than competition in the networks. In addition, using the multilevel network analysis to exploit how the different level of the social network structures affect the actions the firms take. We find the moderating effect of the social network structure. Therefore the moderating effect will affect the action which the firms take and whom the firm cooperate with.
