論文提要內容：
近年來貿易自由化迅速發展，世界各國分別以簽訂自由貿易協定（Free Trade Agreement，FTA）的方式成立自由貿易區，我國為了避免面臨被「邊陲化」的危機，更應該積極尋找願意與我國洽簽FTA的國家，因此本研究主要探討台灣與中美洲和南美洲簽署自由貿易協定後，對台灣的總體經濟有何影響。本研究使用可計算一般均衡(CGE)架構的全球貿易分析計畫(GTAP)模型及第六版資料庫為研究工具。研究結果發現，台灣與南美洲簽定FTA後，各項總體經濟指標，都大於與中美洲簽訂FTA，並以此提出建議政府，應於中國大陸還未與南美洲簽訂FTA前，積極與南美洲協定洽簽FTA，以利我國未來的經貿發展。

Abstract：
Trade liberalization develops very quickly in recent years. Many countries sign the free trade agreement to establish free trade areas. For Taiwan avoids to become the border area. This paper uses the CGE model which names GTAP model. To evaluate the impact of Taiwan which signs free trade agreement with Central America, and
South America. Government must find the country which would sign FTA with Taiwan. The result of this study is that Taiwan should sign FTA with South America, because of the most economic benefits.
