如何有效擷取與應用人類的知識向來為知識管理的關鍵議題,然而目前已開發的資訊技術在擷取隱性知識方面尚未真正滿足使用者需求,因此本研究在於探討,是否能透過一個更為有效且快速的方式來擷取管理者腦海中的知識,幫助決策者作出更佳的決策,使企業持續保有競爭優勢。本研究嘗試結合增長層級式自我組織映射圖(Growing Hierarchical Self-Organizing Map,GHSOM)與案例式推理(Case-Based Reasoning,CBR),期望利用過去案例經驗幫助決策者推理出更快速、準確的參考決策案例。本研究將以王永慶先生的管理知識為資料庫,首先依階層結構將案例庫分群呈現,以便利資料擷取,使得CBR能在案例擷取(Retrieval)階段透過相似性(Similarity)法則,找到決策者最需要的參考決策案例,並利用物件導向技術統一塑模語言(Unified Modeling Language,UML)將此案例式推理知識系統以軟體系統開發方式,分析本系統軟體發展模型,使得本系統能夠更具象化,以供未來系統開發者順利建構系統。

The collection and application of corporate leaders’ knowledge has long been a major management issue. With the development of Internet and Information Technology, the developed Information Technology still doesn’t satisfy the user’s requirement in gathering the corporate leaders’ tacit knowledge. So this research builds a useful Case-base reasoning (CBR) system to assist decision makers in finding a past case similar to the new problems, and use that case to suggest a solution to the current problems, evaluate the proposed solution and update the system by learning from this experience. This research is an application of CBR with Growing Hierarchical Self-Organizing Map (GHSOM) in the dominant managerial logics of Mr. Y.C. Wang the Chairman of Formosa Plastics Group. In order to increase the effectiveness of the case selecting process, this research suggests the approach of clustering, which divides the database by utilizing GHSOM of neural network. Finally, this research analyzes and designs the process of the case reasoning data model, through the approach of Unified Modeling Language (UML). Our end result will be the referable blueprint of build the CBR system in the similar fields.
