摘要
本質性研究之目的是探討北部某私立醫學中心專科護理師角色發展的過程。共有38位個案參與此研究，以質性研究法透過深入訪談同步進行資料收集與資料分析。
本論文以：「專科護理師角色發展的回顧展」及「四組研究參與者對專科護理師制度看法的比較」呈現。結果顯示：（1）專科護理師角色涵蓋部分的醫療與護理專業，兩個專業間對專科護理師角色的期待差異愈多，造成專科護理師角色混淆及角色衝突也愈大。（2）專科護理師角色發展過程當中所經歷各種不同的政策、組織及社會情境的變化，都會影響專科護理師角色的發展。（3）四組研究參與者多半認為專科護理師具備專科或大學學歷即可，只有少數認為需具備碩士學歷，醫師均表示學歷不是唯一重點。
建議未來研究者可以（1）跨單位、跨機構（2）不同教育層級或不同培訓制度的專科護理師核心能力的影響。本研究對臨床、學術、教育、行政之貢獻以詳細列於論文中，供各界批評參考。
