本研究探討台灣大學生使用MAS金錢態度量表與CV理財認知量表之問卷信度、效度,並瞭解因子結構是否因東西方文化不同而改變。進而透過對金錢態度、理財認知與信用卡使用行為三者關係的研究,尋找導致信用卡或現金卡負債的關鍵因素。最後瞭解台灣大學生之金錢態度與理財認知現況,分析不同人口統計變數在金錢態度與理財認知上之差異性。
研究發現,台灣大學生使用MAS金錢態度量表與CV理財認知量表具良好之問卷信度、效度,因子結構亦與國外一致。並得知理財認知為影響信用卡使用行為之關鍵因素,且輔導正確的金錢態度將有助於理財知識的累積,其中以投資方面理財知識效果最為顯著。而男性、就讀工科、有信用卡或現金卡債務者及每月可支配金額較多學生,容易以金錢多寡定義成功,視金錢為身分地位,並發現有信用卡或現金卡債務學生,儲蓄借貸相關理財知識明顯不足。
本篇研究結果可提供學校教育輔導、金融業者授信,甚至政府規範信用卡與現金卡業務之參考依據。
Because attitudes about money and debt have change, bring difficult credit card financial hardship among young student in Taiwan. This terrifying situation even causes a serious social trouble, worry about that, so consider relationship about money attitudes, personal financial literacy and credit card use is important.
We all deep understand cultural background affects the symbolic meaning of money, so the first major purpose in this study was to test the construct validity and reliability with a Chinese-language version of Yamauchi and Templer’s Money Attitude Scale (MAS) on a sample of 220 Taiwan’s university students. And then go a step further, analysis the relationship about money attitudes, personal financial literacy and credit card use, try to find a key point could solved credit card debt problem. Finally, know relationship between demographics and money attitude, personal financial literacy and credit card use.
In this study have three major results. First, the four factors of MAS attained convergent, discriminate, and construct validity, the same that, Taiwan’s university student use adjust CV. financial literacy scale have good discriminate, and construct validity. Second, personal financial literacy is a key factor within credit card use, and if could develop correct money attitudes, will improve personal financial literacy, especially about investment. Three, find demographics is man, major in engineering, have credit card debt, or more income mean money as power and prestige, and show have credit card debt’s students financial knowledge is poor, especially in saving and borrow money.
Those results could offer suggestion to school in design course, to government in control credit card issue, or to bank in instruct.
