Prior research into justice is mostly from a perspective of organizational behavior. Along with the emerging of service industry, justice is further applied outside of the organiztions. However less attention has been paid to marketing chananel. Using Structuere Equation Model (SEM), this study explores the relationships among justice, relationship quality and relationship performance. Sampling comes from 407 non-chain retailing stores. The findings of the research demostrate that justice is significantly associated with relationship quality and relationship performance. It implied that justice is of imporatnce between up and down streams. Of the justices, distributive justice has highest influcnce on relationship quality, followed by procedural justice and then interactional justice. It appears to imply that retail stores are more concerned with their ratios of output/input than personal interactions. This study further uses cluster analysis to differentiate two types of stores: transactional stores and relational stores. And by using discrimination analysis, this study discovers that there is significantly difference between the two types. Theoritical and practical implications are discussed.
