近年來,全球通信市場蓬勃發展,微波電路更是通訊系統中不可缺少的技術,也廣泛的被應用在無線區域網路系統(Wireless Local Area Network)中。由於射頻前端(RF front-end)是由 RF放大器、振盪器、混波器、濾波器所構成,其中濾波器更是電路中訊號純化的關鍵部分之一,因此本論文提出一個符合無線區域網路規格IEEE802.11b協定及個人行動通訊PHS的帶通濾波器設計。
本論文的重點是利用橢圓函數的合成方式,在有限範圍內產生一對傳輸零點,來設計出窄頻高選擇性的帶通濾波器,並使用全波分析電磁模擬軟體(IE3D)來進行模擬與討論,最後也將該電路實現並量測出與模擬特性幾乎吻合的結果。
Recently, because of the rapidly growing of global communication market, RF circuits are indispensable in communication systems, and they have been applied in Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). RF front- end is composed of RF Amplifier, Oscillator, Filter, and Mixer. Filter is the important part of purifying the signal in circuits. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to design a Band-Pass Filter which satisfies the IEEE 802.11b [1] WLAN protocols and the Personal Handyphone System (PHS).

In this paper, we use the Elliptic function synthesis method which produces a pair of zeros at finite frequencies to design a highly selective bandpass filter, and use the full-wave EM simulator (IE3D) in simulation. By implementing and simulating, we show that the theoretical and experimental performances are consistent.
