鈣源對非洲菊切花瓶插壽命之影響
摘要
本試驗採用非洲菊品種計有‘Melody’(淡粉紅色花,黑心)、 ‘Pamara’ (桔色花,黑心)、 ‘Rosabella’ (桃粉紅色花,綠心)、‘Montecristo’ (紅色花,綠心)及‘Rosalin’ (粉紅色花,黑心)等5個品種為材料,探討氯化鈣、硫酸鈣及碳酸鈣採前植株噴佈,及採後保鮮液添加鈣化合物、氯化合物、蔗糖等對非洲菊植體鈣含量及瓶插壽命的影響。試驗結果如下。

以氯化鈣等三種鈣源0.5%、1.0%及2.0%濃度於採前期間每4天噴佈植株1次,共計3次,經採後瓶插,各鈣源對‘Melody’及 ‘Pamara’瓶插壽命效果相近均維持在15-19天;在氯化鈣不同濃度(0.5%、1.0%及2.0%)的採前(每4天噴佈植株1次,共計3次)及採後瓶插的使用,其中採前以0.5%及1.0%的濃度,瓶插壽命維持於16-20天。採前以2.0%使用加上採後各種濃度使用,瓶插壽命大幅縮減僅約10-15天。未於採前使用僅在採後瓶插使用者以1.0%效果最佳可維持壽命至24天;氯化物的使用中以氯化鈣效果最佳,在非洲菊五個品種間的瓶插壽命表現皆維持最佳情形為17-23.7天;以氯化鈣、EDTA-Ca、乳酸鈣及磷酸一鈣不同濃度對非洲菊‘Melody’及‘Pamara’ 採後瓶插,以乳酸鈣各種濃度對兩個品種的效果最佳,在夏季瓶插壽命仍維持約17-18天。不同濃度的蔗糖採後瓶插以5.0%及10%較佳,在‘Melody’品種維持約15天的水準,但在‘Pamara’品種上瓶插壽命天數較‘Melody’少,僅維持在約9-10天。

瓶插後植體鈣分析結果,採後瓶插液添加鈣較之採前噴佈在植體上擁有較高的鈣含量;氯化鈣採前+採後的使用使植體擁有甚高的鈣含量,但鈣含量的高低與切花瓶插壽命之間並無直接相關。
The Effects of Calcium Sources on Vase Life of Cut Gerbera
Abstract
The cultivars of Gerbera including ‘Melody’ (light pink flower with black core), ‘Pamara’ (brown yellow flower with black core), ‘Rosabella’ (coral pink flower with green core), ‘Monteristo’ (red flower with green core), and ‘Rosalin’ (pink flower with black core) were used in this experiment. The effects of spraying calcium chloride, calcium sulfate, and calcium carbonate on plants before harvest or adding calcium compounds, chlorine compounds, and sucrose to the preservative solution on calcium content in the plants and vase life of cut Gerbera were in vestigated. The results are shown as follows:

Three calcium sources, at the concentrations of 0.5%, 0.1%, and 2.0%, were sprayed to the experimental plants before harvest once every 4 days for 3 times. The effects of different calcium compounds on vase life of ‘Melody’ and ‘Pamara’ were similar and could maintain the vase life for 15-19 days. Calcium chloride at the concentrations of 0.5% and 1.0% spraying before harvest maintained the vase life for 16-20 days better than that of 2.0% spraying for 10-15 days. However, only calcium chloride 1.0% adding to the preservatives, no any calcium chloride spraying on the plants before harvest could maintained the vase life for 24 days. Among the applications of chlorine compounds, calcium chloride had the best effect on the vase life. The vase life of the 5 Gerbera cultivars could last as long as 17-23.7 days. Regarding to the applications of calcium chloride, EDTA-Ca, calcium lactate, and calcium phosphate adding to the preservatives on the vase life of ‘Melody’ and ‘Pamara’, calcium lactate had the best effect. The vase life of these two cultivars in summer could maintain for 17-18 days. Sucrose 5.0% and 10% had the better effect on vase life of ‘Melody’ for about 15 days. However, maintained the vase life of ‘Pamara’ only for 9-10 days.

The calcium analysis of plant tissue showed that calcium content of cut gerbera treated with adding calcium preservatives after harvest was higher than that of plant sprayed with calcium compounds before harvest. The application of calcium chloride before and after harvest had higher calcium content in plant tissue. However, calcium content in plant tissue was not correlated with vase life of cut gerbera.
