本研究主要在探討運用漸進式放鬆訓練對於精神分裂症患者焦慮改善之效果。採實驗性研究設計,以北市某醫學中心精神科急性病房病患為研究對象,將18位精神分裂症病患隨機分派至「實驗組」及「控制組」各9人,其中參與完成實驗組及對照組共14人。
實驗組中於每日早上固定時段至治療室中以漸進式放鬆訓練練習放鬆,連續實施11天;控制組亦於每日早上固定時段至治療室休息,但未給予介入措施。於實驗介入前、介入11天後及介入結束後1週以「貝氏焦慮量表」進行前測、後測及追蹤比較,以了解漸進式放鬆訓練介入前、後,精神分裂症病患的焦慮是否能有效改善。
相關資料以描述性統計(平均值、標準差、次數分配、百分比)及推論性統計(t檢定、卡方檢定、Mann-Whitney U檢定、GEE)進行統計分析,研究結果為:實驗組病患在接受漸進式放鬆訓練後,其焦慮改善情形明顯優控制組,在追蹤時則實驗組與對照組無顯著差異。
