本研究探討由供應商、製造商及零售商三方所組成的供應鏈體系，於短期需求尚未發生變動期間，比較供應鏈體系採用供應商存貨管理（Vender Managed Inventory）模式所產生成本和利潤之影響；透過供應商存貨管理實行發現，整個供應鏈的總存貨成本減少及製造商、零售商的利潤增加，但供應商的存貨成本卻增加，且利潤降低。因此，供應鏈體系雖能借運用供應商存貨管理（VMI）降低存貨總成本，但整個體系利潤增加是有條件的，透過本研究將了解VMI實施之效益需要長期才能彰顯。

This research is to discuss an effect of cost and profit generated by adopting VMI for supply chain system consisting supplier, manufacturer, and vender with short term that demand remain constant.
In between, we use mathematical tools to prove their relationships. Finally, to get some results that the whole inventory cost decrease, but the whole profit remain uncertain. Hence, the profit of supply chain can be seen in long term.
