The object of this study was to probe into the factors of the participating will of female teachers on the school administration affairs. To achieve the purpose, a questionnaire was developed to survey the female teachers of elementary schools in Kaohsiung City that were willing to participate in the study. There were 315 effective questionnaires returned among 378 questionnaires distributed. The usable returned rate was 83.3%. The survey data was analyzed by statistical methods such as mean, item analysis, χ ,One-way ANOVA, and t-test etc.
Major findings about the female teachers of elementary schools in this study were summarized below: 1. The more achievement motivation the teachers had, the higher participating will of administration affairs they were.
2. The teachers, from ages 21-30, had higher participating will than the teacher who over 40 in administration affairs.
3. The teachers whose participating will of administration affairs were extremely correlated with the factors of family, social culture and environments.
4. The participating will of female teachers were reduced by the factors of personal interest, interpersonal relationships and campus culture.
5. The participating will of female teachers were promoted by the factors of health, learning opportunities, reduction of lessons and classes.
According to the results of this study, some suggestions were provided as followings: 1. The female teachers should develop their interpersonal relationship and participate in administration affairs positively.
2. In order to scheme the direction of career development, the female teachers should stimulate their achievements motivation.
3. To increase the participating will of the female teachers, the administration should hold curricula about computer skills and related abilities.
