穩健設計是近年有關產品開發研究的重要議題之一,而多數有關穩健設計的研究,均著重在技術與方法面,少有對於跨組織與管理面之討論研究。
本研究是以模式的建構及個案討論,探討跨組織合作的穩健設計作法。以台灣資訊通訊產業之協同產品開發專案為例,研究重點在於探討跨組織合作的特性與問題,找出協同產品開發專案中組織面與設計面的相互影響。以跨組織協同產品開發的需求,合作關係管理機制及穩健設計的延伸概念所為基礎,結合穩健設計的概念和跨組織合作的特性,建構穩健之跨組織協同產品開發模式。經此模式之建構期望協助協同產品開發團隊與合作夥伴建立適當的合作關係,了解彼此的設計偏好,盡速設計出市場所需的產品,作為協同開發團隊建立合作持續關係的參考。
Robust design has been a topic of great interest in research and applications. However, the great majority of studies have focused on technology and methodology aspects. Only few have studied the business and management aspects.
This research explored a robust mechanism for improving inter-organization collaboration. Through the study of collaborative product development projects of Taiwan information and communication technology (ICT) industries, the research examined the characteristics and problems of inter-organization collaboration relationships and the associated interactions of participating organizations in the development process among project team members. The research then extended the concepts of robust design to include the key driving factors for enhancing inter-organization collaboration performance to form a conceptual model for robust inter-organization collaborative product development. This model was highlighted in the case study to show how the robust concept can be extended in the inter-organization collaborative team for cultivating good partnership by understanding partners’ design preferences.
