本論文以浦羅柯菲夫《瞬間幻像，作品二十二》為研究主題， 筆者希望藉架構單純的此曲，探悉浦羅柯菲夫如何表達他音樂中的五種特質，進而對日後彈奏其較複雜的作品有所助益。
首先，第二章從其鋼琴音樂風格的探究起步；自大環境的時代背景和他音樂風格養成的關連性，進而推至其鋼琴作品風格的成長與轉變。在對其鋼琴音樂於各階段的特色，有相當程度的認識之後，第三章開始切入《瞬間幻像》的內容；先瞭解浦羅柯菲夫的創作動機，及《瞬間幻像》與同時期其他作品在風格上的異同，再提出其於鋼琴創作方面的寫作技巧，以便接下來的樂曲分析能有較深層、廣泛的探究。對浦羅柯菲夫在《瞬間幻像》中，如何將各式音樂語言與樂曲個性做連結，有基本的概念之後；第四章的詮釋部分，筆者將從樂曲個性的掌控、旋律線條的處理、踏板、技巧等不同角度探究，以期忠實、生動地呈現此曲的原創精神。
　　經由上述漸進式、層層相關的探討步驟，此研究之最終目的包括，更深入地認識浦羅柯菲夫，及其與身處環境間的互動關係，並對《瞬間幻像》有全面性的了解。
