Abstract
There are numerous conflicts in human history from past till now, including human right, political, religious and economical conflicts, and there is even conflict in the wave of thinking. These conflicts represent a necessary tendency that combines many differences, and the results show that among these differences, some have been eliminated through competition and some reformed; however, there are also some tradition preserved, some results produced from conflicts, which could be new or partially new. However, new thinking and methods usually are not agreed by all people in the beginning due to the subsequent influence of conflict.
The background of this thesis is the wave of creative thinking by some painters, whose traditional painting art had influenced by photography of the “Romanticism” in the middle of 19th century; and the purpose of this research is to study the gradual disappearing or forced changing in the traditional photography that threat by digital image in modern days. From the viewpoint of generation alternation and technology progress, old is certainly to be replaced by new. Furthermore, from the viewpoint of art and design creation, the replaced parts are only the medium and technology; maybe also include some different performance style. However, the spirit for art or design creation could not be changed. Although the development of digital image technology is maturing, the nature and spirit of photography shall not be forgotten. In this series of creation, the artistic nature of photography is going to express by digital image equipment and technology, and expect to know the nature of photography and creation spirit once again and to explore the new field of photography in art and design creation.
