The cooperation between art groups and business provides a powerful presentation of creativity for social art activities and also stimulates the art and cultural market in Taiwan. Through interviews, this study induced 6 types of art-business cooperation models in Taiwan, including art group seeking sponsorship from businesses, businesses sponsoring art activities, businesses holding art activities, the bi-directional cultivation of art groups, the intervention of business channels, and businesses setting up a project platform. Through the analysis of domestic and international cooperation cases, it was discovered that a successful model depends on constant communication and coordination between the two parties. The opportunity for cooperation has to be obtained through reconciliation so that a win-win situation can be created. And the establishment of a cooperation model is based on the wholeness of a project. The two parties should share the idea of integrating various resources and aim at feeding back to the society. As to the current development of art-business cooperation in Taiwan: (1) an exclusive art administration department not been prevalent in Taiwan, and the human resources for art administration and management should be increased; (2) art groups excessively rely on the financial aid of the government and thus become under-advantaged groups and receive unstable income; (3) the high fluidity of human resources in Taiwan has resulted in the insufficient accumulation of experiences, and professional task division is required; (4) business only pursue profits and efficiency, while art groups seek creation and quality, so the time tables of the two parties are different; (5) The Taiwan society has been intervened politically and diplomatically, so the development of art and culture has been deeply confined, and many overseas performances have been affected by political factors; and (6) The perceptions from the Taiwanese businesses and art groups are generally divergent. It is necessary to look for a balance point. At last, as many art-business cooperation platforms have been established in many countries, this study proposed suggestions for establishing an A&B platform. These suggestions include: accumulate the experiences from the domestic or international art-business platforms to establish a Taiwanese Art-Business Platform, find out the cultural features of the Taiwanese society to shape the model of art-business cooperation, make use of lingual affections of art and business for communications and interchanges, mediate the cooperation between art and business to present plural models, and establish a well-planned rewarding mechanism for art-business cooperation cases. These suggestions were expected to serve as a reference for the future development of art-business cooperation.
