PC industry grows very fast for high-speed technology development. At the same time, the PC Case industry , as necessary part of PC , also expands from traditional hardware industry to a new rising industry. The author has worked over 10 years in PC Case industry. To survey production strateage and competitive advantage in Case industry, the study will refer to Company A. The study has four objectives as follow: 1.To understand related theories about production strateage and competitive advantage in recent years. 2.To understand the content of production and competitive strateage in existing industry. 3.To refer to PC Case industry and to research the application of production strateage and competitive strateage in Case industry. 4.To refer to Company A and then research the production strateage and competitive advantage. The PC Case industry’s competition situation is very intense. The Biggest one develops more biger than others. The case in the study, Company A, which has created the core competitive advantage and production strateage following the 5-power analysis method and measurement standard. The 4 conclusions are found as follow in the study: 1.The case Company A’s operation strateage focuses on production strateage and competitive strateage. Under the muture environment, the production strateage includes PM training plan, Lower inventory plan, Product-Life-Cycle management plan, SLM plan, Quality Quick Response(QQR) System. The competitive strateage covers the strategic alliance and single industry. 2.By document servering and personal interview with excutive team in Company A, the study finds the production strateage and competitive strateage fit in with the theory in recent years. 3.After viewing Company A, a fact that OEM is still main force in Taiwan PC case industry was found in the study. Taiwan factorys ,like Company A, establish the production goals to fit their sources and advantages. The goals include flexible production, in-time delivery, lower cost, excellent quality. The excutive in Company A lead different departments to carry out action plans. These action plans ,including supplier relationship, vertical integration, horizontal integration, quailyt management, production planning, human resource, equipment, manafacture system, will help Company A to reach sustainable profit. 4.Company A is a typical case of OEM, and belong to muture industry. Company A needn’t establishing competitive advantage by creating different values. Company A gets their strength, weakness, opportunity, treatening by SWOT analysis. The source of competitive advantage by the Porter 5 force analysis and balance standard were found in the study.
