本研究使用「捕捉標記再觀察法」估計黑腹濱鷸於度冬期與春過境期間在漢寶溼地的數量與變動趨勢,並與現今沿海溼地鳥類調查方法進行比較。從2004年12月初至2005年5月底,共進行了10次的繫放與染色標記,並且在釋放後進行36次的觀察回收,於研究樣區內調查有標記之黑腹濱鷸數量與分佈狀況,分佈地點主要在福寶與漢寶地區,呈現以繫放地點為中心向外擴散的狀態,最遠距繫放地點約4.5公里,所標記的個體核心活動範圍約在半徑3公里之內,本研究選取在此範圍內的調查資料進行族群之估算。族群估計的部份,將回收資料以Program NOREMARK的Joint hypergeometric maximum likelihood estimator (JHE)估計族群量,在2005年1月11日至2月24日之間,族群估計的結果大約為觀察計數最大量的1.9至3.2倍之間,而2005年2月28日至2005年5月9日之間,族群估計結果大約為觀察計數最大量的5.9倍,顯然可能仍有部份族群是停棲在調查範圍外,或是一般鳥類調查無法觀察到的地區。由族群數量的變化得知,在3月初開始數量明顯增加,4月份即開始下滑,同時由體重資料顯示,3月初的平均體重較低,可能是有剛移入的族群,而4月份時隨著體重的增加,覓食至能量足夠的個體即陸續離開。而觀察的族群數量有超過2千隻以上的部份,只出現在2005年的3月24日至28日之間,族群量最大出現的時間相當的短。
The capture-mark-resight method was used in this study to evaluate the population size and dynamics of Dunlin (Calidris alpine) at the Hanbau wetland during the period between winter and spring migration. The capture-mark-resight method was used to compare with the conventional investigation method applied for investigating the birds in coastal wetland. We conducted 10 times of banding and dyeing on the birds from December, 2004 to May, 2005. After releasing the birds, we performed 36 times actions on counting the population size and sighting the distribution of the marked birds. The distribution of marked Dunlin spread outward from the capture site and mainly located on Fubau and Hanbau area. The mean distance for the releasing position of the marked Dunlin to the location that the bird was detected again is 3 km, and the farthest distance is approximately 4.5 km. The mark-resight data of fubau and hanbau areas was analyzed by using the Joint hypergeometric maximum likelihood estimator(JHE)of Program NOREMARK to estimate population size. The results of the population estimation from January, 11 to February, 24 in 2005 indicate that it is 1.9-3.2 folds of the maximum counting data. The maximum population estimating result from the period of February, 28 to May, 9 in 2005 is 5.9 folds of the maximum counting data. Obviously, some population may be roosted on some sites are out of the study area or on the places are hard to investigate by using common methods. According to the counting amount and average weight data, the information reflects some population may be enter to the study area because there are increments in the amounts of the populations and a decrement in the value of average weight in Match. After Match, some individual of Dunlin forage food for getting enough energy and will start to leave the study area. Hence, the amount in population and average weight data in April are adverse to the data in Match. The total amounts of the observed populations are over 2,000 just appears in a short period from March, 24-28 in 2005.
