With the change of life attitude, the demand to products not only emphasizes their functionality but more pleasant using experience. Nowadays, with the transition of living and consumption modes and the pursuit of home style, in the competitive market, the price and quality have not been the key points interesting consumers. The more attractive appeal for consumers is “style.” Consumers decide to buy one product or not mainly due to their feeling for aesthetics, namely “style,” which has become the selling point for new generation consumers. Therefore, I tried to find out the unique fashion from everyday life aesthetics and applied those creative elements to household articles for offering different home-experiences and diverse enjoyments and atmospheres of living space. My main creations focus on afternoon tea sets and flower vases, which are also motivated by my own aesthetics experiences from daily life. Furthermore, I sought for consumers’ expectations and developed three styles- fun, luxury, and simplicity as my main approaches of creation, hoping by creating pleasing stuff to enrich every corner of life. Combining my ideas of creation, this thesis explores the trend of consumption modes, life aesthetics and trend of household articles. The following is the outline showing whole approach.
