在現有的紙本操作環境中,紙本是輕量便宜且易於上面做註解,紙本操作優於電子文件的操作,可同時併排於桌面上,快速擷取所需的資訊,不會像電子文件侷限於電腦螢幕的大小只能片段地閱讀。但在紙本上卻無法提供像電子文件多元輔助從影音動畫到註解分享,也無法像電子文件易於傳遞及複製優點。本研究提出採用網路攝影機、電子筆及投影機等設備,運用影像處理技術及電子筆軟體開發套件進行開發設計,建構一套整合紙本及電子文件優點的學習系統,並加入了合作學習的概念,建構Paper-based提供學習歷程分享輔助,促進學子們的學習成效。
