本論文提出三種圓極化操作印刷槽孔天線設計。第一個設計提出不同於以往藉由微擾輻射槽孔中的磁流分佈來產生圓極化機制,而是利用在接地面上以截角(Notch)新穎設計概念,使接地面上電流分佈能有效被微擾,產生兩等強度且相差90度的電場,並將正方環型槽孔天線由線性極化操作轉換為圓極化操作,其圓極化操作頻帶仍與傳統正方環形印刷槽孔天線的主模態頻帶相同。第二個設計是藉由延伸單頻操作接地面截角式圓極化槽孔天線,在內環金屬微片上植入一近似鑽石形式的槽孔作為純化高頻段3dB圓極化軸比的機制,再搭配適當設計的匹配調整株,因此達成雙頻圓極化操作。第三個設計是以延伸接地面方式對槽孔內磁流分佈作微擾設計,此L形槽孔天線結構可有效激發一寬頻圓極化軸比頻寬。若更改饋入調整株以寬矩形金屬微片作為匹配方式,可讓整體阻抗頻寬達VSWR=1.5,且同時仍維持一寬頻圓極化軸比頻寬操作。這些圓極化天線設計不但具有簡單的輻射體構形與饋入結構,且可用相當有系統的方式實現圓極化的操作特性。
In this thesis, we propose three antenna designs of slot antennas with circularly- polarized (CP) operations. The first CP antenna design provided a novel design concept to obtain CP operations is constructed with a pair of notch on the ground plane. It is seen that the CP operating frequencies of the proposed antenna is still located at the first resonant band of a conventional square-ring slot antenna. The second CP antenna design was obtained by modifying the above-mentioned CP slot antenna by embedding diamond-shaped slot to improve the 3dB Axial-Ratio bandwidth and the axial-ratio quality at higher band, and by properly an impeadance matching tunning stub, which results in a dual-band CP operation. As for the third designed antenna, wideband CP operations were obtained from an extended ground plane to uniformly disturb magnetic current on the slot. Then, by using a widened tunning stub for impedance matching on CP operating band,, good antenna gain can be obtained. These CP antenna designs not only have simple shape of radiator and feeding structure, but also achive CP performances by systematic method.
