在本研究中,我們主要利用2,4,6-tris(2-pyrimidyl)-l,3,5-triazine(以下簡稱TPsT)在有機溶劑下當作一個主要的配位基,而金屬離子則是以terpyridine-like的方式鍵結,再以兩端都含有羧酸根的配位基BDC (1,4-Benzenedicarboxylate)、BPDC (4,4’-Biphenyldicarboxylate)、PDC (3,4-Pyridine-dicarboxylate)和BTC (1,3,5- Benzenetircarboxylate)連結,在120℃下經由自組裝得到一系列的一維鋸齒鏈狀結構: Zn(TPsT)(BDC)‧DMF(1), Cd(TPsT) (BDC)(2), Zn(TPsT)(BPDC)(3), Cd(TPsT)(BPDC)‧1.5DMF (4), Cd(TPsT)(HBTC)‧DMA(5)和二聚體(dimer) Zn(TPsT)(3,4-PDC) (6)。我們以熱重分析(TGA)和粉末繞射(XRD)來測定這些結構的熱穩定性,再以紫外-可見光(UV-vis)光譜和螢光光譜來探討這些化合物的光學性質,由於TPsT本身具有放光的性質,所以我們也針對所合成的這一系列的配位高分子之放光的性質作了一番討論。
The novel metal-organic coordination polymers, Zn(TPsT) (BDC)‧DMF (1), Cd(TPsT)(BDC)(2), Zn(TPsT)(BPDC)(3), Cd(TPsT) (BPDC)‧1.5DMF(4), Cd(TPsT)(HBTC)‧DMA(5) and Zn(TPsT) (3,4-PDC)(6)(TPsT=2,4,6-tris(2-pyrimidyl)-l,3,5-triazine, BDC =
1,4-Benzenedicarboxylate, BPDC=4,4’-Biphenyldicarboxylate,
BTC=1,3,5-Benzenetircarboxylate, PDC=3,4-Pyridine-dicarboxylate) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. All of them adopt one-dimentsional zigzag chains, except that compound 6 is a dimeric structure. All the zigzag chains and the dimmer were formed in organic solvents via the self-assembly of five- or seven- coordinated metal centers, carboxylate ligands and TPsT in a terpyridine-like coordination mode. Their structure characterization and thermal stability are also further discussed. Since the TPsT is known to exhibit strong fluorescence, the emission properties of these compounds were investigated by means of UV-vis absorption and emission spectroscopy.
