In the past the civil engineers design and analysis a building by experiences . As the fast growth of computer technology, most design and analysis of construction are calculated by computers . So , how to make the structural analysis software easier to use becomes an important topic for programmers . The purpose of this research is using object-oriented programming technique to develop an automatic reinforced concrete structural preprocessing program ( AutoRC ) . The system has simple interface , and it can automatically perform model generation , load distribution , and section estimation . Therefore , this system can help engineers to finish the structural analysis preprocessing faster and spend less time to learn the software operation . Consequently , the work efficiency will be increased , and the system is also easy to use .
