Patients with chronic disease need some permanent or temporary medical device to improve their life and to treat disease. In the past most of these devices are big and equipped with wires. It is not easy to apply the traditional medical equipment in the homecare and telemedicine. This paper is concerned with design of a wireless platform. The wireless platform will instead of the route of traditional system. There are several blocks of the system, such as wireless platform, physiologic monitor, signal processor, stack architecture and user interface. To match the requirement of wireless healthcare system, the algorithm and firmware should integrate into the hardware. The combination of system blocks makes the infrastructure for medical information exchanges come true. This product includes the technique and devices for disease monitoring which is provided by National Health Research Institutes. The vital signs of ECG, RESP and XYZ will be measured. The electrical signals are digitized and recorded by a microcontroller MSP430F1611. The biomedical information is automatically sent to a RF transceiver, CC2500. The information will be transmitted to a PC by wireless networks and displayed in the monitor. The wireless platform and devices complete a Wireless Healthcare System. The system can capture and analyze physiologic signal of the patients’ monitor the progress of patients’ health conditions’ and diagnose and rise medical care in time.
