傳統的網頁行為探勘(web usage mining)通常是根據使用者日誌檔(user profile)來找出使用者偏好,然而使用者日誌檔中對於瀏覽路徑中任二網頁所包含的概念關係卻無法描述,所以無法表達網頁間內容的關聯性。因此本研究嘗試利用知識本體所記載的語意架構來記錄使用者行為,並將使用者的偏好記錄到知識本體中而形成個人化知識本體(personal ontology)。首先我們從使用者瀏覽過的網頁中萃取出重要的關鍵字,參考專家知識本體的架構將這些關鍵字形成個人化知識本體。個人化知識本體將能代表使用者目前所擁有的概念及偏好。最後我們以個人化知識本體在個人化排序(personalized ranking)上的應用來說明個人化知識本體的應用,我們將個人化知識本體中的偏好值加入於排序的評分演算法的評分考量,使得使用者較偏好的網頁可以有較高的評分。
The user profile is usually used to find the user interests in traditional web usage mining. However, the user profile could not describe the relationship of the concepts in any two pages of the navigation path. Thus, we try to use the personal ontology to record the user’s interest concept by using the semantic structure of the personal ontology. We extract the important terms from the user navigation path and then use them to create the personal ontology. So, the personal ontology can describe the user’s concepts and interests. Finally, we take the application of the personal ontology to the personalized ranking as an example. The interests recorded in the personal ontology are taken into account to the evaluation of the ranking of the searched pages in searching engine. Thus, the pages that the user is interested will be able to be selected with higher priotity to achieve the personalized ranking.
