近年來,全球產業間的競爭態勢越趨緊張,許多管理者認為「科技」為企業維持競爭力的關鍵資產,故各大企業紛紛考慮將其資源投入於創新與研發;並且隨著消費者意識之抬頭,「滿足顧客需求」遂成為企業所追求之目標。為此,企業必須以滿足顧客需求為其研發之最高指導原則,進而不斷的在其產品/服務上推陳出新,以維持其競爭優勢。然而,創新研發往往是個曠時費力的工作且具有高度的不確定性,如何及早確認研發方向並衡量其創新效益,是為一項重要的研究議題。
有鑑於此,本研究提出QFD與TRIZ理論之結合應用,以期在早期產品開發階段中利用QFD將顧客需求轉化為相關之產品規格,使得企業之研發方向得以符合顧客之所需;並以TRIZ理論為其創新方法之參考依據,以確保創新的可行性;最後透過類神經網路軟體建構不同產品規格屬性與時間因子對科技產品售價之影響預測模型,以審核前述創新之效益。就此,本研究特以平面顯示器為研究案例,將其不同之產品屬性與收集數據的時間點作為輸入參數,售價為輸出參數,進而分析透過QDF與TRIZ而提升某特定產品規格之潛在效應,以在研發投入前得以及早確保創新效益,作為相關決策之參考。
Rapid development of technology has shrunk the life cycles of today’s products considerably. As a result, continuous improvement of product specifications or, namely the sustaining product innovation, has become a critical strategy for businesses to remain competitive. On the other hand, “meet customers’ demand” is its final target. However, R&D often is a job which needs a lot time and requires strenuous effort, and what is more, it always has vast uncertainty. So how to confirm the efficiency of R&D is an important issue. The aim of this paper is to propose an approach that can rise the efficiency of the R&D. The methodology is three-fold. First, quality function deployment (QFD) is used to identify possible product innovation SDFs as well as the trade-offs between each pair of design requirements. Second, the 40 inventive principles and the matrix of contradictions of TRIZ are then used to explore possible product improvement alternatives. With the value of each alternative remain unclear, this paper proposes a neural network model that can be used to predict how much more price each possible product improvement can generate in order to help gauge the value of each improvement alternative. An illustrative example, using flat panel displays, is also described in the last part of this paper in order to verify the validity of this approach.
