Except for the relationship between building’s plan and user’s demand, changing building’s plan or increasing appliances to any existence living space is not only satisfy user’s demand but also satisfy family member’s living conscious and quality, which included the demand of daily life and home appliances. Inside my thesis, the definition of living space means living room, dinning room, kitchen, bedroom, toilet and balcony, which exist in the spatial form and building’s plan. There are very few studies, which concerned about the location of home appliances, the usual practice of home appliances and the relation between and main electric power and room plugs. Inside my thesis, I pick up one high-rise building as my case study. Because of the difference between each family’s incomes, the usual practice of home appliances showed diverseness. It is easy to adjust the location of home appliances and house’s plan inside user’s apartment rather than outside public area. Those adjustments, which came from increased home appliances, will increase the demand of wall plugs. But the easiest way to satisfy the demand is to use extended lines. Therefore, types, quantities and locations of home appliances will affect living space arrangement. Studying types of home appliances and following factors, which included difference between original home plan and after changing home plan, daily using and non-daily using home appliances, centralizing of home appliances, using frequency of home appliances…etc. and according to「Indoor Assembly Line Rules」,I check related rules and advanced some suggestions. From my studies, most people use two walls of each room rather than four walls to arrange home appliances. Sometime they needed to use extended lines to replace those insufficient plugs. To apartment’s power capacity, those increasing load still admittable. I hope my study can contribute to home appliance manufacturers and electrical engineers, in order to centralize and raise both efficiency and safety of home appliances. I also hope my study can contribute to architecture and interior designer, when they consider both locations of home appliances and storage rooms.
