本論文著重於圓極化操作(circularly polarized operation)與寬頻帶操作(broadband operation),提出創新的設計方式進行天線研究與設計,配合HFSS模擬軟體輔助設計,並以實做的方式來驗證。在第二章中,提出具方形環狀之圓極化天線設計,採用微帶線饋入至一方形環狀結構,並在方環形迴路內植入一金屬微片,運用耦合方式達到圓極化的效果,並可應用在GPS頻段上,滿足全球衛星定位系統標準之需求。在第三章中,提出一新式槽孔耦合饋入之圓極化圓形槽孔天線,針對特定圓形槽孔結構,提出一種不對稱金屬細帶擾動方式之圓極化操作設計,藉由此不對稱金屬細帶的微擾設計,可得到良好的圓極化寬頻天線。最後,在第四章中,提出一新型的電阻負載之寬頻圓極化微帶天線,利用電磁耦合饋入(Proximity-Fed)的方式,並於50Ω微帶線尾端跨接一個50Ω晶片電阻至接地面,使微帶饋入線之輸入阻抗維持著50Ω到末端接地,並調整開路微調微帶殘段(tuning stub),找到最佳匹配,造成寬頻效果。
This thesis mainly study in circularly polarized operation and broadband operation of antenna, Novel designs of microstrip antenna have been investigated in this dissertation, and simulated by software HFSS. Three different types of circularly polarized antenna, GPS antenna, circular slot antenna and using passive loading component antenna, are investigated and designed. In Chapter 2, a design for circularly polarized square-ring antenna is presented. This antenna was fed by microstrip line and inserted a small square patch into a square-ring at the same plane, which covered the frequency band for GPS applications.In Chapter 3, a novel circularly polarized circular slot antenna using a pair of perturbation strips will be applied. This antenna was fed by slot-coupled and allowed easy adjustment by trimming the perturbation strips length. A good circularly polarized wave can be easily excited. Besides, to improve the bandwidth of microstrip patch antenna, the antenna with a resistive loading is proposed. By proper adjusting the position of chip-resistor loading, a maximum 3dB AR bandwidth was found to be about 8.5% and is investigated and fabricated in Chapter 4.
