本研究主要是以資料包絡分析法(DEA)來評比台灣封裝公司的績效。透過本研究結果,我們可清楚的瞭解半導體封裝業其企業現有資源是否有充份利用。
而本研究實證結果可提供企業經營者及想要投資該企業之投資者瞭解企業的相對競爭力以及在經營與投資時須注意該公司的經營重點指標。半導體封裝的客戶或供應商也可藉由對該公司的績效變化或經營績效的趨勢,認識各家封裝公司的經營績效狀況,可做為合作時評估的參考。
透過本研究的規模效率分析與差額變數分析,企業可調整營運規模及加強技術效率。本研究也提供DEA各種績效分析模式之比較,作為進一步了解各種分析模式結果,所代表之真正意義及使用上的限制。
The primary objective of this study is to apply DEA method for evaluating the business performance of Taiwan’s IC packaging industry. From the findings of this study, we can clearly see whether the existing resources of the IC packaging industry are sufficiently used.
The results of this study can provide managers and investors understanding the competitiveness of the company and some operational criteria upon reviewing a company’s management. In addition, IC packaging customers or suppliers may also, through the trend or changes of the company’s performance, come to understand the performance of individual corporations, and take into consideration when assessing the possibility of business cooperation.
Through the analysis of scale of efficiency and slack analysis, we are able to adjust the operating scales of enterprises. This study also provides the comparisons among the different DEA analytical models. This can help understand the true meaning of the corresponsive results of DEA model and its application limitation.
