The past researches of which subject was about entrepreneurial opportunity were concentrated on how to recognize, develop and exploit the entrepreneurial opportunity, hardly discuss the effect of opportunity to entrepreneurial performance. The prior knowledge, alertness and social network of the entrepreneur were the factors which affect opportunity recognition in these researches. However, the prior knowledge helps the entrepreneur to solve problems and make decisions, alertness helps the entrepreneur to be sensitive about the change of the environment, and social network is the source of information and resource. All of these will help the entrepreneurs which had recognized opportunities to have good entrepreneurial performance. Therefore, we will try to discuss the moderate effects of prior knowledge, alertness and social network between opportunity recognition and entrepreneurial performance.
The members of Headquarter China Youth Career Development Association who have had their own company will be our research objects. 123 questionnaires were responded and valid. The result shows that opportunity recognition has positive influence on entrepreneurial performance; prior knowledge, alertness, the public welfare and professional network don’t have moderate effect, but the political and friendship network have.
