本研究旨在瞭解目前商職學生英語焦慮、英語學習動機與英語學習策略之間的關係,除了比較不同背景因素、英語焦慮因素、英語學習動機因素及英語學習策略因素之間的差異情形,同時探討這些因素之間的關係並建構國內有關商職學生英語焦慮、英語學習動機與英語學習策略模式。本研究樣本依照分層比例隨機叢集抽樣方式抽取,以問卷寄發為主,寄發約1080人作為抽取對象,最後回收1000份,回收率為92.6%,剔除無效問卷後,共得有效問卷947份,可用率為87.7%。問卷調查結果經由信、效度分析、敘述統計、相關分析、t檢定、多變量單因子變異數分析及結構方程模式LISEL統計方法進行分析以考驗研究假設及檢測關係。研究結果顯示:
1. 本研究的商職學生英語焦慮、英語學習動機與英語學習策略模式與實際資料可以適配,顯示本研究所提出的商職學生英語焦慮、英語學習動機與英語學習策略模式可以解釋一般商職學生的觀察資料。
2. 英語焦慮與英語學習動機呈現負向關係,英語焦慮與英語學習策略呈現負向關係,英語學習動機與英語學習策略呈現正向關係,而且影響甚鉅。
3. 本研究經過幾次的模式修改,建立了最後模式,此模式代表現階段商職學生真實的概況,並可作為未來相關教育政策者的有效參考資料。
The objective of the research is aimed to understand the relationship of English learning anxiety, motivation, and strategies among current commercial vocational school students. While comparing differences resulted from factors such as demographics, English learning anxiety, motivation, and strategies, this research also investigates their relationship with the intent to construct the domestic model targeted on English learning anxiety, motivation, and learning strategies among vocational high school students majored in business related areas. The sample in this research is derived from Stratified Simple Random Sampling method via questionnaire, distributed to a sampling target of 1080 people with 1000 replied questionnaires or 92.6% received. After deleting invalid replies, 947 valid questionnaires or 87.7% remained. These valid questionnaires are analyzed statistically through descriptive statistics, reliability test, validity test, t-test, one-way MANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, Structural Equation Modeling using computer program SPSS for windows 12.0, and LISEL for windows 8.54 to test the research hypothesis and relationship. At the end, this research reached four conclusions. First of all, the model used in this research matched the data obtained from the questionnaire, indicating that this model is able to explain the English learning anxiety among vocation high school students. Secondly, English learning anxiety and learning motivation have negative relationship. Thirdly, English learning anxiety and learning strategies have negative relationship. Finally, English learning motivation and learning strategies have positive relationship. Through a couple of revisions, the final model was confirmed. This model represents the most realistic English learning conditions for current commercial vocational school students. It could serve as a valuable and valid reference for policy maker in education in the future.
