本研究旨在探討中部地區國中學生之家庭內社會資本與數位落差的關係，研究主要是依據文獻探討的結果，編制「國中學生家庭網路生活問卷」作為研究工具；並以台中市、台中縣、彰化縣與南投縣等四縣市共909位的國中學生為研究對象進行問卷調查，再採用描述統計、單因子多變量變異數分析、積差相關、典型相關與階層多元迴規等統計方法進行資料分析與處理，本研究主要發現如下：

一、國中學生在網路使用的家庭內社會資本以家庭規範的程度最高，親
子互動的程度最低。
二、國中學生以物質與使用上的接近機會之落差程度最大，網路使用技
能之落差程度最為輕微。
三、國中三年級學生所知覺在網路使用的家長教育期望較一年級學生高。
四、與父母同住的國中學生所知覺在網路使用上的親子互動與家庭規範
程度較高。
五、高家庭社經地位的國中學生所知覺在網路使用上的親子互動、家庭
規範與家長教育期望程度較高。
六、男學生知覺的網路物質與使用接近機會較女學生高，女學生知覺批
判性網路倫理與網路使用技能較男學生高。
七、都市國中學生知覺的網路使用技能較非都市學生高。
八、年級較高的國中學生知覺的網路使用技能與創發性網路使用的程度
越高。
九、家庭社經地位較高的國中學生知覺的網路使用技能與創發性網路使
用的程度越高。
十、家庭內社會資本與數位落差有正向的關係存在。
十一、國中學生的背景變項及家庭內社會資本對數位落差有預測作用。

A Study of the Relationship between Social Capital within the Family and Digital Divide among Junior High School
Students in Central Taiwan

Abstract
The study aims to examine the relationship between social capital within the family based on Coleman’s theory and digital divide among the junior high school students in central Taiwan.
The study depended on the results of literature analysis and made the questionnaire entitled “Survey of the internet life between the junior high school students and their parents” . The data of the questionnaire was collected from a sample of 909 junior high students in Taichung city, Taichung county, Changhua county and Natou county. The statistics methods, including descriptive statistics, one-way MANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, canonical correlation and hierarchical multiple regression were used to analyze the data. The results of the study are explicated as follows:

1. The junior high school students had the lowest degree
of interaction between their parents and them on their
usage of the internet when they were regulated by more
internet rules from their parents.
2. A digital divide was found among junior high school
students, caused by different degrees that they could
have access to the internet. These factors included the
physical access and the usage access, but not the skill
access.
3. The ninth-grade students perceived higher expectation
from their parents than the seventh-grade students.
4. The students living in the two-parent family perceived
more parent-child interaction and family rules on their
usage of the internet than other students.
5. The students of High-SES families were more aware of
parent-child interaction, family rules, and their
parents’ expectation on their usage of the internet
than other students.
6. Male students perceived that they had a higher degree of
the physical access and usage access to the internet
than female students, whereas female students perceived
that they were much more concerned with the ethics of
the internet and skill access than male students.
7. The students living in the urban areas perceived that
they had more skill access than the students living in
the suburban areas.
8. The higher grade level the students studied at, the more
skill access and creative usage access to the internet
the students perceived that they had.
9. Higher-SES family students perceived more internet skill
access and creative usage access than the others.
10. There was a positive relationship between the social
capital within the family and digital divide.
11. The digital divide among junior high school students
could be predicted by the variables of family
background and social capital within the family.
