隨著知識經濟時代的到來,知識已經逐漸被視為一種策略性的資產,以及創造競爭優勢的主要來源。而當產品、服務的內涵以及生產的程序愈加複雜與專業,企業競爭的基礎也由實體資產逐漸轉向知識資源。知識經濟時代的企業經營特徵,主要顯現知識取代傳統有形的產品與資產,知識將成為企業經營的核心。
最近許多公司在知識管理類型中顯示出興趣,但是大部分的公司從未開始實施他們自己的知識管理專案。然而,要獲致成功的知識管理必須具備的條件很多,而知識管理方法的選擇,則必須要依據知識的類型及組織的核心競爭力與文化來決定,也就是說並不是每一個企業都適合相同的知識管理方法,而且也並不是每一種知識管理方法都具有相同改善績效的效果。
本研究擬探討知識管理類型對於組織經營績效的影響,並探討不同知識管理類型對於績效上是否存在差異。本研究透過問卷方式進行實證研究,利用各樣本知識外顯及內隱導向之不同,對樣本進行集群分析,瞭解知識管理類型與組織經營績效之關連,進而對於企業經營策略提出建言。
