本論文研究以大蒜粗萃液培養點帶石斑魚之白血球,並在飼料中添加不同濃度生大蒜和大蒜粉,探討對點帶石斑魚成長及非特異性免疫因子的影響。實驗一結果顯示,以不同濃度之大蒜粗萃液(0、1、5、10、25、50 mg/ml)於體外培養點帶石斑魚之白血球可提升其超氧陰離子產生能力及吞噬率,且劑量愈高提升能力愈佳。實驗二結果顯示,經8週連續投餵含有生大蒜或大蒜粉的飼料對點帶石斑魚的成長及活存率並無顯著的影響。實驗三結果顯示,連續8週投餵含有生大蒜或大蒜粉之飼料的點帶石斑魚在以Vibrio alginolyticus攻擊後,添加劑量為40 g/kg、80 g/kg之生大蒜處理組活存率明顯高於對照組。實驗四結果顯示,在實驗進行的30天中,點帶石斑魚攝食含生大蒜及大蒜粉的飼料後,皆可於不同採樣時間觀察到點帶石斑魚白血球超氧陰離子產生率、超氧岐化酵素、吞噬細胞吞噬率及吞噬細胞吞噬指數有顯著提升(P<0.05)的效果;添加濃度為10 g/kg之生大蒜及10 g/kg大蒜粉處理組,球蛋白濃度分別於實驗第4天及第8天明顯高於對照組,其餘各處理組於實驗期間則無明顯之影響。綜合本研究結果,飼料中添加生大蒜與大蒜粉投餵點帶石斑魚觀察其抵抗V. alginolyticus感染之能力與非特異性免疫反應後發現,生大蒜處理組比大蒜粉處理組有較好的效果。
