本研究的目的在探討腳本遊戲對於自閉症幼兒在溝通回應能力上的影響,研究方法採用單一受試實驗設計中多試探跨不同遊戲團體之設計,以就讀公立幼稚園普通班大班的自閉症幼兒個別與三組遊戲團體(每組一名男孩與一名女孩同儕)共同扮演主題相關腳本並輪流扮演角色。
本研究的自變項為腳本遊戲教學,共有十二個遊戲主題,隨機分派至三個不同的遊戲團體。腳本遊戲教學策略包含:與兒童生活經驗相關的腳本主題、主題玩具、角色及其動作、對白以及角色提示,依變項為自閉症幼兒符合情境的回應次數。研究全程以錄影方式紀錄,之後再分析其互動過程與符合情境的回應能力。研究結果顯示:
1. 自閉症幼兒在接受腳本遊戲教學後,在與溝通夥伴溝通互動時,符合情境的溝通互動次數明顯增加。
2. 自閉症幼兒在接受腳本遊戲教學後,在不同溝通夥伴之情境中符合情境的溝通互動次數明顯增加。
3. 自閉症幼兒在接受腳本遊戲教學後,對不同溝通夥伴之符合情境溝通互動能力的維持效果較不明顯,但對不同溝通夥伴之不符合情境溝通互動行為明顯降低且具維持能力。
This study was to explore the effects of use of script play to promote interaction and appropriate response of a preschool child with autism.
A single subject research method with multiple probe across three play groups design was adopted. One preschool child with autism served as participant, two peers (one boy and one girl) served as play mate to form a play group also participated in the study. The target child with one dyad (one girl and one boy) was trained to act out themes and exchange roles according to script play until the dependent variable data was stabled and then replicated to the other two dyads.
The independent variable was scripted play. Twelve scripts were conducted and random assigned to three settings before the study started. This study adopted the teacher, socio-dramatic script training, scripted training package including themes based on children’s life experiences, roles, actions, play materials, dialogue and least role prompt as the independent variable to increase target child’s interactions and appropriate response to peers. In addition, every play session was videotaped and analyzed for various verbal and nonverbal responses to peers by target child.
The results indicated that target child demonstrated increasing social interactions and appropriate response with peers during scripted play sessions and successfully replicated across three play groups. Finally, it was also found that the target child’s inappropriate response decreased even after script play intervention was ceased.
