Abstract The innovation of the system of college entrance has been proceed for many years, multiple entrances of college are accepted by commonalty and many colleges adopt the system to recruit students. However, admission by recommendation and screening, parts of the multiple entrances, account for some problems about recruiting students. Colleges don’t have enough information about the students’ study achievement to judge whether the students are recruited.
The study explains issues by discussion of references and second data analysis. The issues include 1) the status of the system of admission by recommendation and screening and the truth of the system’s advantages; 2) the attitudes and behaviors of high school students about participating in admission by recommendation and application. And discussing the theory of information asymmetry to analyze the operation of the system, and find the cause leading the information asymmetry.
The study provides a censorship on the score reports of high school students to reform the situation of information asymmetry about recruiting. The censorship is set up by statistical data of high schools, so it is a normalize censorship. Using the censorship can understand each high school’s level of study achievement and judge the students’ study achievement.
