This paper focuses on mobile computing device. The main objective is to build a framework that allows classify innovative computing devices and provides data for product success or failure in the market.This paper is written with awareness of such strong trends as products convergence and divergence.The main object for analyses and testing of the arguments was UMPC (Ultra Mobile PC). Also interviews with industry experts were held that provided in-depth product and market information. The categories of the mobile computing devices were identified that allowed to classify them and build the framework. The methods were described in this paper how to reduce device complexity. The features of the devices that do matter to the consumers were mentioned. The results of this research provides framework to managers product market strategy build up.
