Most employees in the organizations work as the role of individuals in society. However, with the increase of teamwork, the number of contribution for teams decline with the participation of increasing team members. For expanding the epistemic sphere on social loafing, the research use team member exchange as an independent variable to explore the relationships in both team member exchange and social loafing. Through the moderating function on collective efficacy from teams, we can clarify further the rela-tionships on both two variables.
The research group is for teams of domestic police station. The result came to 73 transversely effective samples. By the examination of linear regression and the analysis showed that the negative relationship in team member exchange and social loafing is significant. The result will be more evident through the moderating effect from team’s collective efficacy.
