近年來,台灣高科技產業蓬勃發展,尤其是資訊電子、通訊、半導體等產業更成為台灣出口的主力。因此,台灣在全球高科技產業中,扮演了極為重要的地位。許多高科技公司在這幾年也紛紛成立。高科技產業大小無數的會議,種類之多,頻率之繁,也都直接或間接的促成了工作效率的提升與改善。本研究目的是探討台灣高科技產業專業人員所須具備之會議經營能力,藉以提昇工作效率。此研究採用德爾菲法進行,經由德爾菲法的問卷實施過程,蒐集專家對台灣高科技產業專業人員所須具備之會議經營能力的意見,並逐步找出共識。本研究之德爾菲法小組成員共計二十四位專家,包含以下二類成員:(一) 各大學商管及應用英語學系教授十二位 (二) 台灣高科技產業的中階主管及資深專員十二位。在三次德爾菲法問卷調查過程中,除第一次外,其餘兩次皆提供前一次問卷之統計結果及意見彙整予德爾菲法小組成員做為答題參考。統計方法之使用包括描述統計、T檢定、卡方檢定、四分位距等。經由上述的研究程序,研究結果顯示學界專家在會議的認知上,比較重視意見的表達及問題的深度,高科技產業人員則比較重視會議速度的掌握以及問題解決的時效性。本研究問卷中,共產生七十項會議經營能力陳述, 其中五十七項被德爾菲專家列為是”非常重要”並且是“必要的” 會議經營能力,另外十三項則被列為是”一般重要”並且是 “可能需要” 的會議經營能力。 同時, 這項研究也建議科技大學應建立有效的策略及全盤性計劃,將會議經營技巧及知識融入相關職前及在職教育訓練課程中,以提高生產力及工作效率。
During these past several years, the Hi-Tech industry has developed rapidly in Taiwan, especially with informative electronics, communication, and the semiconductor fields. Those products are the main exported resources. Therefore, Taiwan plays an important role in the Hi-Tech industry in the world. Many of the Hi-tech companies were founded during these years. Meetings occur frequently in Hi-Tech organizations, and it usually serves as the key to affecting the working efficiency in these organizations. The purpose of this study is to identify meeting-managed competencies needed by Hi-Tech professionals in Taiwan. The Delphi technique is utilized in this study. Through the process of this method and data collection from experts, the consensus of meeting-managed competencies was reached. There were twenty-four experts in this research which comprised of two kinds of members: (1) Twelve professors from the Business Administration Departments and Applied English Departments from universities (2) Twelve Hi-Tech professionals who are middle level managers and senior specialists in Hi-Tech organizations. In the Delphi technique, three rounds of questionnaires were used for the twenty-four experts. With the exception of the first round of questionnaires, the other two questionnaires were generated for the experts based on the statistical results and input generated from the previous questionnaire. The statistics used include: descriptive statistics, Chi-Square, t-test, Interquartile range, etc. After the analysis, the result concluded that the educators more heavily considered the problem and issue. On the other hand, the Hi-Tech professionals more heavily considered the meeting efficiency and the quick fix of the problems in the meetings. Through the Delphi process, 70 meeting competency statements were generated. Fifty-seven of the 70 competencies were deemed as “extremely important” and “mandatory”, 13 were considered as “of moderate importance” and “may be needed” for Hi-Tech professionals in Taiwan. The research also recommended strategies and an effective comprehensive plan for assisting the technological universities in incorporating meeting-managed opportunities into their preservice and inservice training programs to be developed.
