The purpose of the study were (1) to compare the difference between BMI and SPA; (2) to comprehend the relationship between SF and SPA; (3) to predict the swimming intention on SF and SPA; (4) to predict the swimsuit style on SF and SPA. There were 397 subjects drawn from NYUST. The collect data were analysed by One-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, multiple stepwise regression, discriminant analysis.
The results were as follow:
1. There was significant difference between BMI and SPA.
2. There was significant correlation between SF and SPA.
3. The swimming intention could be predicted by Impression Construction.
4. The swimsuit style could be predicted by impression motivation and physique presentation comfort.
According to the results, the practical application and future research suggestions were provided.
