高科技產業中半導體產業又稱積體電路(Integrated Circuit;IC)產業係屬於知識、技術及資本密集的產業,固定資產、機器設備數額非常龐大,為求創新以獲取高利潤,所投入的研究發展費用也相當驚人。依據2006年半導體工業年鑑統計,國內的半導體產業中約有13家的晶圓製造公司,因全球半導體產業的不景氣、國內人力成本不斷提升及土地取得不易的情況下,可以發現半導體產業逐漸產生了合併、裁員、往外設廠;國內廠商已大量向外尋找代工方式生產,顯示台灣半導體業已面臨新的競爭壓力。
本研究使用資料包絡分析法(Data Envelopment Analysis,簡稱DEA) 及Malmquist生產力指數,針對民國89年至94年台灣13家晶圓製造業廠商進行經營效率評估,讓管理者能瞭解資源運用的效果,協助效率低落的企業找出改善的參考標竿,並提出改善對策以提升效率、增加生產力,進而引導企業未來資源之調配方向。
Semiconductor also called Integrated Circuit(Integrated Circuit;IC) industry and is a highly concentrated industry of knowledge, technology and capital, moreover, it contain many fixed assets and machine equipment; these condition is seeking to gain high profits, so the investing money and resource is astonishing. According to semiconductor statistical data on 2006, there are thirteen companies of producing wafer in Taiwan. However, the slump of earth, the people cost increasing and gaining land not easy in Taiwan, many companies adopt combination, laying off employees and building foreign factory, especially others companies find outsourcing to help producing; these condition shows the semiconductor industry facts new stress. This study use Date Envelopment Analysis (DEA) methods and Malmquist’s producing exponent to evaluating all companies’ managing effects in Taiwan during 2000 to 2005. The aim is make administrators know the effects of operating resource and help the bad company finding the reforming factor and develop countermeasures to increase effectiveness and production, moreover, teaching the company how to distribute the resource in the future.
