近年來由於資訊科技的快速進步,有線網路以及無線網路速度日益漸增,網際網路所提供之應用服務充斥在人們生活週遭。將車輛賦予無線網路技術使車輛彼此之間能夠擁有通訊能力,組合成車輛隨意網路(VANET)是目前無線網路應用範疇熱門的討論議題。由於VANET網路應用服務範疇很廣,包括提供行車安全資訊、車輛導航服務等,例如:前方發生車禍,車輛可以透過VANET傳遞緊急資訊通知後方來車前方狀況,預防意外發生。或是在道路行駛之車輛能透過VANET上傳遞資訊找到附近最近停車場、加油站等。針對緊急事件之訊息散佈處理,緊急封包具有時效性,必須迅速地送予其他車輛知道。使用原始廣播方式用於緊急封包之處理能將之迅速地散佈,但此方式卻會造成過多重複封包在網路上傳遞,造成網路資源相當大的浪費,但點對點傳播緊急資訊之方式用於解決此問題,對於需要時效性之緊急事件又無法提供迅速傳遞之能力,因此並不適合。
故本論文提出選擇性之廣播方式傳遞緊急封包資訊,依據道路上車輛之移動方向、所在位置以及相對角度作選擇性之挑選下一個廣播中繼點。有效率地挑選中繼點作廣播服務能夠大幅降低重覆封包在網路上傳遞,避免不必要網路資源浪費。本論文最終目標在於選擇性廣播方式能維持原始廣播方式之傳播快速之特性,並且減少網路資源不必要浪費,維持傳播資訊效率。
As the rapid progress in wireless communication technology, the transmission speed of wireless network and wire network become more faster and the network applications grow comprehensively. For example: vehicles will disseminate emergency event packets for warning vehicles behind it when there is an emergency coming up, or vehicles may receive information of gas station and parking space around the area
The emergency event packet must be disseminated to other vehicles quickly, it is timeless. Broadcast method can accord with the requirement of emergency event packets. But it will lead to lots of redundant packets in the network and exhaust network resource. ex: Broadcast Storm problem.
In this thesis, we propose a method that uses the selective-broadcast mechanism to assist data disseminating quickly and reducing unnecessary message relay for solving Broadcast Storm problem. In addition, assistance of Road-Side Unit (RSU) can assist disseminating of emergency event packets rapidly and quickly, it also transmission efficiency of advances entire network environment.
