臺灣博碩士論文加值系統

「預防勝於治療」是人人都熟知的觀念，然而，「預防性文物保存」的觀念，卻是近年內才成為博物館學領域的重要課題。在博物館中，預防性保存的工作是針對所有可能造成文物損壞的風險，包括環境控制、天然的災害及人為的破壞等加以防治，以達防微杜漸之效。而文物包裝則提供了文物自庫房到展覽場地全程的保護，使文物能避免受到外在環境的影響與破壞，並確保文物在運輸過程中安全。因此，文物包裝時的「預防性」概念更是不容小覷。
本研究是從博物館的預防性保存工作著手，探究各類文物保存時的風險及需求，並透過個案的包裝及搬遷實例或經驗，來了解目前國內外不同規模及條件的博物館，對於預防性文物保存的包裝考量及做法。本文希冀透過多項個案的分析比較，探討現行博物館在文物包裝之現況及問題，也期望藉由本研究的建議及分析，使預防性文物保存的概念善用在文物包裝的工作上，並作為國內中小型博物館在文物包裝及搬遷上的參考。

We often hear the phrase: “Prevention is better than cure”, but the concept of preventive conservation has only recently become a significant subject in the realm of museology. In a museum setting, preventive conservation is targeted towards any harm that may be applied onto the collection objects. This may include: environmental control, natural disasters, or damage cause by human factors, and all efforts of prophylaxis in preserving cultural treasures are vital. Collection object packing offers the link between the transport from warehouse to the exhibition venue and avoids any foreign impact or damages during transport. Therefore, the concept of prevention is an important issue even when the museum object is being packaged.
This research will focus on preventive conservation efforts in the museum setting by reviewing various needs and risks whilst warehousing collection objects. Example cases locally and abroad offer comparison method and experience to further understand preventive conservation concerns and packing practice at museums of various scales and conditions. This thesis wishes to offer an insight of current practices of collection object packing in museums and their problems via analytical comparison of referred examples. The writer wishfully anticipates the suggestions and analysis may offer a guideline reference for packing and transportation of museum objects in Taiwan as the idea of preventive conservation may be fully implemented.
