隨著資訊科技的進步,促使企業重新審視在網路社群中逐漸改變的競爭環境,包括組織的扁平化和資訊網路的擴散,促使越來越多的企業逐漸地將非核心業務委外處理以求降低成本,因此資訊委外與否已成為多數企業所面臨的一個重要決策問題。資訊委外有降低成本與共同分擔失敗風險等優點,但卻也存在著委外風險與委外管理等問題。近來學者大都從交易成本觀點探討管理者對資訊委外的決策,但卻忽視了使用者本身對資訊委外的接受程度可能對其實施之成功與否產生影響,故本研究從使用者觀點結合代理理論、科技接受模式驗證影響使用者對資訊委外後的接受程度之影響因素,以提供企業作為往後資訊委外事前與事後決策的重要參考依據。
Along with the evolution of information technology, most enterprises face changes in competitive environment and supplier-customer relationship. More enterprises authorize non-core activities to outsourcing firms but can’t beat implementation barriers. Hence, information outsourcing is an important decision issue for managerial levels. Information outsourcing has the benefits of reducing costs and sharing risk with suppliers. However, the risk of property infringement and contract management will not vanish in information outsourcing. Most studies have been establish by assessing managerial decision of outsourcing from the transaction costs perspective. Such an approach ignores the emerging importance of user acceptance in implementing information outsourcing. From the user perspective, this study develops a modified agency model to explain user aceptance of information outsourcing. The empirical findings contribute strategic implications to managerial levels in making ex ante and ex post information outsourcing decisions.
