近年社區意識逐漸抬頭，使各地方呈現出嶄新的面貌，但是研究者的家鄉─台南縣六甲鄉在此熱烈的潮流中卻面臨沒落與遺忘，許多珍貴的自然與人文資源亦將跟著沉寂，因此本設計創作主要目的在記錄、詮釋與呈現六甲鄉的珍貴資源，為故鄉貢獻心力。依據上述目的，本設計創作前置研究主要分為三個部份：

一、了解地圖定義與特性，並就其創作性與創作價值進行探討。
二、分析比較市面上具創作性之地圖案例，以了解目前地圖創作現況。
三、調查與整理六甲鄉自然與人文資源等資料，做為創作依據。

並依以上研究結果針對六甲鄉的資產進行一系列的地圖設計創作，創作內容為五個主題以及一張總圖，含連作共計八幅作品。

經由探討與研究地圖創作相關文獻後發現，地圖具有相當程度的創作價值，並從六甲鄉實地調查中得知六甲鄉蘊藏豐富的資產，因此以地圖設計創作呈現六甲鄉的特色，是可以達到記錄與傳達之意義與作用。

Recent years, the community realized gains ground gradually,and causes various places to present the brand-new appearance, but researcher''s hometown - Lioujia Township, Tainan County actually faced the decline and forgetting in this warm tidal current, many precious natures and humanities resources also with quiet, therefore this design creation main purpose in the record, annotated and presents six armor townships the precious resources, for hometown contribution mental effort. Based on the above goal, this design creation pretage research mainly divides into three parts:

1. the understanding map definition and the characteristic, and carry on the discussion on its creative and the creation value.
2. in the analysis comparison market condition map of case the creative, understands the present map creation present situation.
3. investigates and reorganizes six armor material and so on township nature and humanities resources, does for the creation basis.

And aims at Lioujia Township according to the above findings the property to carry on a series of map design creation, the creation content is five subjects as well as an assembly drawing, including continuous cropping total eight works.

After discussion and research map creation related literature discovered that the map has the suitable degree creation value, and knows six armor township implication rich property from six armor township on-the-spot investigation, therefore presents six armor townships by the map design creation the characteristic, is may achieve the record and the transmission significance and the function.
