  隨全球化競爭、兩岸經貿環境的改變以及資訊科技的影響,貿易服務業快速改變為微薄利潤的完全競爭產業。面對現況企業如何在商業環境立足並持續取得競爭優勢,端賴企業所建構之核心能力。一個企業能否實現它本身的目標,並維持競爭優勢,關鍵還是要落實到流程的執行,而貿易服務業者的核心能力正是在其內部流程中。
  貿易服務業角色是介乎顧客與供應商的橋樑,所扮演的是整合者,其內部流程運作主要是提供「資訊」給顧客與供應商,也是貿易服務業價值及核心能力之所在,因此,很值得從核心能力的觀點來探討之。本研究將從單一個案的內部流程中,找出關鍵作業流程,並衡量此關鍵流程資訊化的程度,建議改善方法,以使其核心能力更為強化。
  依研究分析架構之步驟,第一分析研究個案內的價值活動;第二進行訪談,並將訪談內容依文獻所歸納的核心能力辨識方式,找出個案中的關鍵作業流程,第三以資訊處理機制,來探究資訊科技運用的程度,作為檢核該關鍵作業流程資訊化程度的準則,最後提出改善建議。研究結果發現以核心能力觀點,所發展出的關鍵作業流程辨識方法是可用的,而利用資訊處理機制概念,來探討關鍵作業流程資訊化程度,是具有實質效果,最後依據研究個案實際分析結果,提出與企業流程再造相關的改善建議,希望能提供貿易服務產業的組織,作為提昇績效的參考。
Under the impact of global competition, the change of cross-strait economic and trading environment, and information technology, the trade in services has quickly transformed into a narrow-profited perfect competition industry. How an enterprise survives the business environment and continues to enjoy the competitive advantage depends on the core competence developed by the enterprise itself. Whether an enterprise can achieve its goal and sustain its competitive advantage is contingent upon the realization of workflow. Moreover, the core competence of trade in services is generated from the internal workflow.
Trade in services plays a role as a bridge between customers and suppliers. It is a role as an integrator. Therefore, for our enterprise customers, it is essential to observe and find out the operations of their internal workflows to provide customers and suppliers with this information, also is the trade in services value and the core competence is at, therefore, is worth the from the viewpoint of core competence to explore for. In the research, using a single case, we find the key workflow of which the degree of computerization is evaluated from the internal workflow of an enterprise. We then propose a method for improvement to enhance its core competence.
According to the research and analysis framework, the first step is to analyze the internal value activity. Second carries on interviews, and the interview content depend on literature induce of the core competence recognizes a way and identify in the case the key workflow. Third, we evaluate the degree of the application of information technology using information processing mechanism. The result is then used as a baseline for the assessment of the degree of computerization of the key workflow. Finally, a suggestion of how to make improvement is given. The outcome of the study demonstrates that the identification method for key workflow developed from the viewpoint of core competence is a feasible one. It is evident that using the concept of information processing mechanism in the evaluation of the degree of computerization of key workflow has a direct effect. Relying on the outcome of the analysis, we offer a few suggestions for improvement to business process reengineering and hope that these suggestions become valuable opinions for enterprise in enhancing their performance.
