眾多的文獻指出,供應鏈廠商間資訊分享及資訊品質的提升,有助於提升供應鏈整體的績效。許多廠商希望能提升供應鏈的資訊效益,將資金投資在資訊科技的軟、硬體設備。本論文認為企業除了在資訊科技的軟、硬體方面的投資,提升廠商間的合作關係可能更能有效的加強供應鏈的資訊分享與資訊品質,進而提升供應鏈的績效。

本研究對象為台灣電機電子同業公會名錄的成員,並從電腦及電腦周邊設備類、電子成品類與電子元件類為調查的對象。調查資料使用LISREL來驗證所建議之結構模型。由問卷分析的結果得知,供應商與買方的合作關係緊密度會對雙方在資訊分享程度與資訊品質有顯著的影響,進而對供應商交期績效與供應商存貨績效產生顯著影響。雙方之合作關係程度對資訊品質的提升之影響程度更甚於資訊分享所造成的影響。可能的解釋是合作關係事先奠定了雙方資訊分享的基石;不論資訊分享的內容與分享頻率程度,均取決於雙方合作的緊密度。因此,企業應先重視的是和其合作廠商間的合作關係的維持與提升層級,藉由緊密的合作、溝通與協調,才能有效的加強供應鏈的資訊流。
The impacts of information sharing and information quality on supply chain performances have been discussed in the literature to great extent. Many firms in the past decades have devoted their efforts and money to developing networks that interlink their supply chain members such that the information passed through such networks can help to benefit every company in the chain. We suggest, in this research, that besides investing on the hardware and software required for the interlinking network, companies should also look into improving the relationships with their perspective collaborative firms, which may be an even stronger role in achieving better information-oriented performances.
We developed a questionnaire based on previous literatures to test the impact of supply chain partnership on the effects of information sharing and information quality, and hence the impacts on supply chain performances in both quality and delivery. The questionnaire was conducted through mail and personal contacts to managers in the companies listed in the Taiwan Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association (TEEMA). The survey data were analyzed using LISREL to test the structural validity of the proposed model. The results showed that partnership among firms indeed had a strong impact on the extent of information sharing and its quality, which lead to improved supply chain performances. We conclude that companies should focus on developing a strong and better relationship and hence a tighter partnership with their buyers and suppliers to achieve better information performances. Some managerial insights are also provided.
