金翼白眉(Garrulax morrisonianus),英文名為Formosan Laughing Thrush,中文名台灣噪眉、玉山噪眉,分佈於海拔約2,000~3,952公尺的山區,為台灣特有種鳥類。在本研究中共選殖了十五組微衛星序列作為分子標記,依主要山脈(雪山山脈群、中央山脈群及王山山脈群)及山頭島嶼(太平山、大雪山、合歡山、梅峰、丹大、望鄉、啞口林道及神木林道)來分群,分別檢測各山脈間及各山頭島嶼間之族群的遺傳距離,評估山脈間或山頭間的低地會否阻礙高山族群的基因交流,造成族群間遺傳結構的差異。結果顯示山脈間的族群沒有呈現分化的現象,但山頭間的族群只有中部的三個族群(合歡山群、梅峰群及望鄉群)與其它五個族群(太平山群、大雪山群、神木群、啞山群及丹大群)間呈現顯著的分化現象。推測山脈間的低地可能是一種天然障壁,影響族群間的基因交流。遺傳距離和地理距離間並無明顯關聯,不符合「距離造成隔離」的遺傳結構。
Garrulax morrisonianus, an endemic avian species of Taiwan, inhabits evergreen forests at high elevations of 2,000 to 3,952 m. In this study, I developed 15 microsatellite primer pairs for genetic study. I separated the populations according to the mountain ranges (Hsuehshan range, Central mountain range and Yushan range) and mountain islands (Taipingshan, Dasyueshn, Hehuanshan, Meifeng, Danda, Wangxiang, Yakou and Shen mu Forest Trail). I tested the pairwise genetic distances between different mountain ranges and mountain islands. The results showed that there were no genetic difference between the mountain ranges, but three populations (Hehuanshan, Meifeng, Wangxiang) had significant pairwise genetic distances form other five populations. Lowlands may have acted as a geographic barrier affecting population genetic structure for G. morrisonianus. There were not significant relationships between genetic distance and geographic distances among populations.
