現今保險產業的競爭日益加劇,推出的商品多元,且屬於知識密集產業,必須利用知識管理的系統把知識管理思維與企業管理活動結合在一起,改變策略。更由於知識管理是快速發展的新興領域,各種重要的新思想和新技術頻繁湧現,高層管理人員需要持續地追蹤、評估最佳策略、或依照企業營運實情加以修改,納入自身的管理體系之中。況且,知識經濟已成為全球企業界共同關注的重要議題,不僅企業界重視知識管理,連國家的政策方向與競爭力的發展,都與知識管理有相當大的關係。然而憂的是,大陸彼岸,不論是在高科技產業甚至連保險業的發展速度甚快,台灣企業界若未能持續在全球的知識經濟體系中繼續保持競爭力,顯然很難再保有長期的競爭優勢。因此,本研究在於針對保險產業是否能藉由知識管理系統的建立,來提昇公司整體保險從業人員的核心能力,並建立及蓄積公司的智慧資本,以提昇組織績效水準。
本研究以實證分析探討知識管理、智慧資本、核心能力、組織績效
之關係。研究對象是台灣保險產業,有效樣本200份,以SEM、變異數等分析方法進行實證分析,研究結果如下:
1.保險產業內部知識管理對智慧資本與核心能力產生正向顯著影響;
2.保險產業內部智慧資本與核心能力對組織績效產生正向顯著影響;
3.保險產業內部知識管理對智慧資本有正向顯著影響,同時智慧資本對組織績效亦有正向顯著影響,亦即保險產業內部知識管理會透過智慧資本之中介效果來影響組織績效。
4.保險產業內部知識管理對核心能力有正向顯著影響,同時核心能力對組織績效亦有正向顯著影響,亦即保險產業內部知識管理會透過核心能力之中介效果來影響組織績效。
The insurance business is fiercely competitive and there are a variety of insurance products in the market. It is crucial to implement a management database to collect and manage corporate knowledge for this industry. A corporate strategy is also needed to identify market orientation. Because the technical aspects of this industry are developing rapidly, upper management needs to collect and maintain information in order to make the right business decisions. Management of corporate knowledge is not only important to business companies, but also to government agencies. In mainland China the technology business and the insurance business is growing at a rapid pace. If Taiwan’s corporations cannot keep up with the competition in China, then business will suffer and result in loss of market share. This research concerns the need to improve management of corporate knowledge which will inevitably achieve increased benefits for the insurance industry.

This sample presents the conclusions of this study. It is divided into three sections. First, an overview of the purpose of this study, summary and interpretation of the results are presented. The second section discusses the contributions and implication of this study. Finally, the limitations of this study and the possible avenues of future research are discussed.

In this study the empirical analysis of knowledge management, intellectual capital, core competencies, and organizational performance relations. Study is that the Taiwan insurance industry, 200 valid samples, SEM, such as analysis of variance empirical analysis, research results are as follows:

Of organizational performance produced significant positive effects;

3. Knowledge management within the insurance industry of intellectual capital are being significantly affected, while intellectual capital of organizational performance is also significant positive impact on the insurance industry that is within the knowledge management of intellectual capital through an intermediary to influence the effect of organizational performance.

4. Knowledge management within the insurance industry to the core capacity is being significantly affected, while the core capacity of organizational performance is also being significantly affected, that is, knowledge management within the insurance industry through the intermediary of the core competencies to influence the effect of organizational performance.
