本研究主要目的在了解初次腦中風老年原住民長期照護利用情形及其影響因素。由於腦中風後產生功能依賴時，需要他人一段長時間非正式及正式長期照護服務。老年原住民為弱勢群體之一，且照護資源不足，因而腦中風老年原住民長期照護的問題值得關注。本研究以Andersen Model為理論架構，採橫斷性調查法，並以自擬結構式問卷進行資料收集，共收案92位，其中男性40位、女性52位。依Andersen Model之前傾、使能及需要因素探討初次腦中風老年原住民長期照護服務利用之相關性並找出預測模式。
本研究結果顯示：初次腦中風老年原住民使用單純非正式長期照護服務最多，其次是合併使用非正式及正式（混合式）長期照護服務。與初次腦中風老年原住民長期照護服務利用有關的變項為「族別」、「住院天數」「SPMSQ」、「NIHSS」、「ADL」、「IADL」及「輔具使用別」。再以邏吉斯迴歸分析初次腦中風老年原住民長期照護服務利用模式，結果顯示：「族別」、「住院天數別」及「生活類輔具使用」等因素為重要之預測因子。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the long-term care utilization and its influencing factors in the aboriginal older adults with stroke. Aboriginal older adults residing in the eastern regions have the highest prevalence rate of stroke in Taiwan. As known, the long-term care services (LTCS) for the post-stroke older adults are imporant; however, most aboriginal older adults live away from rural areas and might be lack of long term care resourses. To explore the research purpose, the Andersen Model and a cross-sectional study design were applied and a structured questionnaire was used to collect data. 92 subjects met the inclusion criteria were completely interviewed including of 40 males and 52 females. Analyzed methods is Logistic regression to predict the best model.
Results showed that the pure informal LTCS utilization had been higher than informal and formal mixed LTCS utilization in the interviewed subjects. The family care utilization was the most among the informal LTCS. On the other hand, the home care service was the most used among the formal LTCS. The correlation factors are race, admission days, SPMSQ, NIHSS, ADL, IADL, and usage of assistant devices. The significant predictors for aboriginal older adults with stroke of LTCS model are the race, the stroke admission days and usage of life assistant device. The public policy makers and nurses should take these findings into consideration prior to any long-term care intervention for aboriginal older adults.
