本研究針對台灣龜山島海域小單拖漁業混獲與丟棄量之時空分佈進行每月二次之市場採樣及樣本船採樣分析研究。採樣期間自2005年4月至2007年3月止,共計採樣47次;結果顯示混獲漁獲之生物量中以硬骨魚類為最優勢(81%)分屬113科386種,而甲殼類及軟骨魚類也分別佔了7.56%和9.1%。稚魚出現的比例以秋冬至隔年初春(9-4月)較高,而夏季(5-8月)較低,同時在稚魚所佔比例較低的月份,成魚所佔的比例則較高;而多樣性的分析顯示,成魚的豐富度、均勻度、歧異度指標,以夏末至秋或冬初之際(9-12月或9-1月)較高,而冬至春或夏季相對較低,但在稚魚方面,則以夏末至秋或冬初相對較高,而冬末到初春較低。群聚結構分析方面則顯示,無論是市場採樣或樣本船採樣(且無論是混合樣本或成魚及稚魚樣本),大致都可以區分為春夏群聚(4-8月)和秋冬群聚(9-3月),雖然年間有些許的季節推移,但仍以兩大群聚為主,且各群聚之主要魚種的組成也大致相似。而樣本船隻之採樣分析則發現,棲地型態對群聚形成之影響隱含於季節之內而較不易顯現;但深度則為影響本區底棲魚類群聚結構的重要因子。此外,Abundance/Biomass Curve的分析發現,不論是年別、棲地別或深度別的分析皆顯示豐度曲線均有高於生物量曲線的情形,意味著本海域可能為遭受較大漁撈壓力所影響之區域。而海上丟棄量的分析則顯示,各年別之不同棲地與季節,其生態使用效率(EUE)有顯著差異,但卻無年間一致性。上述結果與本海域底棲魚類之開發與管理建議也一併於文中予以討論。
